I think I am going to use the quote on page 34 about family.
"each member of the family in his own cell of consciousness,each making his own patchwork quilt of reality--collecting fragments of experience here,pieces of information there. From the tiny impressions gleaned from one another,they created a sense of belonging and tried to make do with the way they found each other." There is just so much to work with in the story with this-its almost too easy-so The Bluest Eye is it, for me.

I love this passage also. I agree, you should have plenty to say. Work on that solid thesis to set up your idea for your readers and to clearly guide them through your reading of the passage.
